Brett is a pretty average guitarist... this would sound twice as good with Butler's artistry added to the chords. Still, this was the best song on the album.

This is a great song. Brett has great tone both on the guitar and on his vocal instrument. Very good. Very heart-felt and compelling nonetheless.
However...my concern is that the title of this song conflicts with the standard by Horace Silver, "Song For My Father". It might be wise to re-name the tune just in case of any copyright infringement.
